Here's the finished version of my torso drawing. I'm pretty happy with this one. There are a couple of places I could tweak it a little, but I don't want to overwork it. I'm finally getting used to working with the charcoal, learning it's little idiosynchrasies.
Photography this week had to do with observing the differences in the lighting of the same scene taken two different ways. I chose to take my pics of one of my drawing casts both in open shade and with flash. Can you tell which is which?

I remember that assignment well. That torso must have been drawn a million times by now among all the students that did it. It was a real challenge - nice work!
